The executive committee, also called administrative committee, is the body which holds the monopoly of the legitimate representation of the members of the Syriac club. The meetings are generally held every two Sundays. The decisions and resolutions taken by the executive commitee are mandatory by nature. In other words, the resolutions adopted by this committee apply to all the Syriac Club members. This body generally comprises the number of nine (9) members of whom necessarily, the president, the vice -president, the treasurer, and the Secretary. The presence of these last four is sine qua non condition to hold a meeting; no resolution can be adopted if these four are not favorable unanimously. Moreover, the resolutions are adopted if they collect the majority (50%+1) of votes within the executive committee. |
