The presidency is an institution that incarnates the whole executive committee of the Syriac club. The presidency must thus reflect the all the members and the orientations of the Syriac club. The presidency is an institution to which we owe a very high level of respect that is explained by the fact that a nominee at the office of president is characterized by a remarkable wisdom and impartiality. A nominee for the office of the president shall be a regular member in good standing for one year, at least twenty one years old, and has obtained a college degree or higher from an accredited institution.

Functions of the president:

A. The president will chair the executive committee and the annual meetings of the general body of the Club.

B. The president will prepare an agenda for each meeting.

C. The president will sign all the contracts, titles and other documents relating to the Club affairs.
