The vice presidency is an institution which has a great importance, the vice president is the person held responsible for the correct procedure of the executive committee work. The vice-president is the person who must ensure himself the correct operation of the businesses of the executive committee and make sure that the resolutions were fulfilled. The respect of the institution of the vice-presidency is explained by the fact that someone who held this function is characterized by a great know-how and a remarkable sense of diplomacy. A nominee for the office of the president and the vice-president shall be a regular member in good standing for one year, at least twenty one years old, and has obtained a college degree or higher from an accredited institution.
Duties of the Vice President:
A. The vice-president shall assume the duties of the President in the absence of the President or if he or she is unable to perform specified duties.
B. The vice-president shall see that all resolutions and recommendations of the SCYC are carried out thoroughly.
C. The vice-president shall perform duties that may be assigned to him/her by the president or by the Executive Committee.
