Dear Friends from the Syriac Catholic Youth Club; It is with great honour and pleasure that I have the opportunity to present my vision, as the bishop of your eparchy our lady of the Deliverance for the Syriac Catholics of Canada and the United States. I would like to show my support and affection to our youth and especially to the Syriac Catholic Youth Club.  My endorsement is certainly extremely valuable to the club’s leading members, since this club has grown stronger over the last few years.  I hope from the bottom of my heart, the youth will appreciate the efforts deployed by the Club. I would like to underline the efforts you are making in order to open the club to new horizons full of light and faith for the youth of our times.

I’ve always been aware of the important place of our youth involvement within our community and diocese.  I’ve always cared about giving a vital place to our youth, so without any doubt they could feel at home in their own Church.  I also hope that this letter may be a testimony of affection between the Church and their sons and daughters of the Syriac Catholic Youth Club.  I have knowledge of the various organized activities in which, most of the time if not all of them, Father Pascal take part of.  I’ve been informed of the few retreats, trips and journeys that have taken place and they were all successful.  I would like to thank all the executive committee members and I encourage the youth of our Church to be more involved to bring the kind of success our community is worthy of.  Remember, our future is in our very hands, and every one of us has a responsibility to make it brighter.  Youth is a precious and beautiful asset that our Church has and we hope that their contributions will bring us together to a higher level.  Our faith in Jesus-Christ, our lord and saviour, let us hope.  It is with Jesus that we form a community of hopefulness and have the responsible freedom. I’ve always believed that our youth should be encouraged to become involved into the evangelization process, the renewal of values and also the renewal of our Church volunteers and leaders.  To you all, I will be thankful for accepting my sincere words.
